Owner Profile
I am Doug Sprowls, the owner of The Tax Company, and have operated in San Diego for
over 20 years. I have extensive experience in tax and accounting and providing
services to individuals and small businesses that desire personalized attention and
prompt professional results.
I am enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent and authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS.
In addition to the EA designation, I have successfully completed the requirements for the nationally recognized Accreditation in Accountancy. The Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation (ACAT) has awarded me accreditation as; Accredited Business Adviser (ABA) on the basis of my years of experience as well as the successful completion of a uniform national examination requiring technical proficiency in a wide range of areas, including financial accounting, compilation services, business consulting services, taxation, business law, and ethics.
